How to Strengthen Your Poetic Voice

You're invited to a free talk with poet, writing instructor, and professional ballet dancer Stefanie Leigh.

Each of us carries within us a powerful, distinct writing voice that emerges naturally in the places where we are most fully ourselves -- not simply where we spend the most time, but where we feel most connected to who we really are.

During this talk, we’ll look at how voice emerges through the lived identity and parallel practice in medicine, nature and performance of poets such as Fady Joudah, William Carlos Williams, Ada Limon, and others.

This talk is not a step-by-step process for “finding” your voice, but an invitation to recognize that it may already be fully formed.

You will leave with a deeper sense of your own voice and a way of approaching your poetry that feels less manufactured, less performative, and more like breathing.

Sign up now to attend live at , or watch the recording on your own time.

By signing up, we will also let you know about future lectures, workshops, and opportunities from The Writer's Workshop at Authors Publish.
