Redivider: Now Accepting Submissions

Redivider is run by graduate students at Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. Originally founded in 1986 as the Beacon Street Review it was renamed Redivider in 2004. They publish two longer online issues a year as well as a summer mini issue focused on blurred genre. They do not accept submissions from current Emerson College students, faculty, or staff, but everyone else is free to submit unpublished work. They are a respected publication and have published a mix of emerging, new and established authors over the years.

They have a very low acceptance rate. They close to submissions on December 1st, 2026. They take about six months to respond to most submissions.

They publish poetry, nonfiction, fiction and visual art and they say they also like “offbeat” texts, and hybrid works. They clearly outline how many pieces from each genre they accept per issue on their submission page here.

They only consider submissions through Submittable. To learn more, go here.
