Aromatica Poetica: Now Seeking Submissions

Aromatica Poetica publishes writing that celebrates smell and taste. They welcome fiction, nonfiction, and poetry, and they publish around half of the submissions they receive that follow their submission guidelines.

Editor Dr. M. Leona Godin experiences a heightened sense of smell and taste because of blindness. She also loves literature, and so Aromatica Poetica was born. She is passionate about publishing a wide variety of perceptual perspectives.

Aromatica Poetica holds two reading periods each year: from October through December, and from April through June. They accept reprints.

Authors of short stories, poems, essays, articles, reviews, and interviews may submit. Although they accept submissions up to 5,000 words, Aromatica Poetica prefers to publish pieces around 1,500 words.

Submissions should include a bio and cover letter, as well as any original artwork or photography that could be considered with the piece.

Aromatica Poetica accepts submissions via email, not online or by post. They accept simultaneous submissions but ask that authors withdraw work published elsewhere.
