An established and respected print journal of poems, essays, translations, interviews, book reviews, and historical perspectives, Asheville Poetry Review garners an international audience. Widely distributed in the United States, Canada, and Europe, this roughly 200-page poetry journal is well-known and well-loved.
Since 1994 Asheville Poetry Review has published over 1,700 emerging and established authors from 22 countries, such as Sherman Alexie, Gary Snyder, Robert Bly, Joy Harjo, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Eavan Boland, Yevgeny Yevtushenko, R. Asheville Poetry Review is published once a year in print. They open to submissions yearly from January 15 through July 15.
Poets may submit three to six poems for publication in the journal. They accept all forms and styles of poetry, but tend to publish literary work.
Asheville Poetry Review only accepts submissions by post, not online or via email. You can find their mailing address online. They do not accept previously published work.
