Clementine Unbound: Always Seeking Poetry and Prose

An online poetry journal established in 2015, Clementine Unbound is seeking, “fresh and tangy poems.” The attractive, minimalist journal is published weekly by retired writer and editor G.F. Boyer. She likes skillfully honed, musical poems that demonstrate keen awareness of language. She publishes all styles—formal, free verse, experimental, and prose poetry. She also accepts essays and other prose work, as well as photographs.

Clementine Unbound responds to submissions very quickly—sometimes within a few hours, but always within a week. Because of this, they don’t accept simultaneous submissions.

Also it is very important to note that you should read past issues to see what they have previously published. If your poems do not seem to fit what they publish, do not submit.

Poets may submit three to five poems along with a third person bio, 100 words or fewer. Poets should submit no more frequently than once every six months.

Clementine Unbound is open to submissions year-round. They only accept submissions via email, not online or by post. They don’t accept previously published work.

If you would like to learn more or submit to Clementine Unbound, please visit their website here.
