Cupid’s Arrow Publishing: Accepting Submissions

An imprint of Paper Angel Press, they are open to submissions, both of novel-length work and shorter pieces, in the Romance genre. For more information about how their press operates overall, please read our full review of Paper Angel Press, which we link to above.

They are interested in all kinds of romance stories except for full-on erotica. Stories can include scenes that are more steamy, but the core of the story must be the relationship between the main characters. Work should have happily-ever-after endings.

Besides full-length manuscripts they are currently open to short fiction, under their Dalliances program. This includes stand-alone short stories and short story collections.

They also are open for submissions for three themed anthologies:

Dalliances: For the Uniform

Dalliances: Second Chances

Dalliances: Good Sports

They ask that you do not submit any work where characters under the age of 18 participate in adult activities. They also do not consider work with non-consensual activity or assault of any kind.

They share additional details here. They expect all manuscripts to be Shunn formatted. They say they try to acknowledge receipt of manuscripts within 72 hours and respond to the submissions within 90 days. They also make it clear that isn’t always possible and wait times can be longer. Please only contact them after 90 days (and I honestly would wait longer).

How to Get Started With Writing Essays

How to Get Started With Writing Essays

The following is a sort of beginner’s guide I wish I’d had when I…
