FEED THE HOLY is an online journal of writing that promotes peace and positivity. They’re looking for writing that explores questions such as: “What brings you joy? How do you feed the holy or sacred in your life or community? How do you nurture love and kindness? What is it like to be human in this world?” You can read the journal online to get a sense of what they publish.
The journal was launched in 2024. They publish new content online on a rolling basis, with around twenty to thirty new posts each month.
FEED THE HOLY accepts submissions year-round. They ask all authors to read this article before submitting.
Poets may submit up to three poems. Authors of fiction and creative nonfiction (essay and memoire) may submit one piece at a time. There are no guidelines given for length.
FEED THE HOLY accepts reprints with credit to the original publishers.
FEED THE HOLY accepts submissions via email, not online or by post. They accept simultaneous submissions, but authors should withdraw writing published elsewhere. They do not pull pieces once they are scheduled for publication.
FEED THE HOLY only accepts submissions that follow the guidelines they’ve posted online. Please read these guidelines in full before submitting. They do not accept writing that is assisted or generated by AI.

Bio: Ella Peary is the pen name of an internationally published author and editor. After earning a Master of Fine Arts degree in poetry from Sarah Lawrence College, she lived as a monastic for five years. She now lives as a lay monastic, and teaches poetry, flash fiction, and literary publishing at the Authors Publish Writers Workshop. Her writing has been published in Room, The Apple Valley Review, Fourteen Hills, and elsewhere. And a number of full-length manuscripts she’s edited have received major international awards, including The Best Graphic Novel of the Year (Comics Finlandia), The Montaigne Medal, and The National Indie Excellence Awards. She’s also a long-time literary journal reviewer and editor at Authors Publish Magazine.
