Four Way Review: Now Seeking Submissions

From the respected nonprofit, independent press Four Way Books, Four Way Review is an online literary journal launched in 2012 in celebration of the press’s fortieth anniversary. They publish poetry and fiction from both emerging and established authors.

Four Way Review accepts submissions year-round. They publish two editions a year, and each issue contains work from around ten contributors. Submitting authors can expect a response within three months. They do not accept multiple submissions.

Poets may submit three to five poems. Authors of fiction may submit up to 6,000 words. Four Way Review is looking for writing composed with an exceptional sense of craft and a strong voice. They are interested in poetry and fiction that demonstrates the imagination’s potential to digest and give meaning to everyday experience. Submitting authors can get a sense of what they publish by reading past issues online.

Four Way Review accepts submissions online, not via post or by email. They accept simultaneous submissions, but ask that authors note such submissions in a cover letter and immediately withdraw work published elsewhere. They do not accept previously published work.

If you would like to learn more or submit to Four Way Review, please visit their website here.
