How to Get Publicity for Your Writing

An Insider's Guide to Getting Media Attention for Your Books

Join Kindall Gant, Senior Publicist at Phaidon, for a practical behind the scenes look at how book publicity really works.

Drawing on her experience at major publishing houses such as Hachette Book Group and independent presses like Artbook D.A.P. and Ugly Duckling Presse, Kindall will demystify the process, highlighting why publicists pitch specific outlets, and how to approach those outlets. Plus, you'll learn about media targeting, angle development, the creation of press materials, and outreach.

Whether you’re planning a launch or looking to build long-term visibility for a project, this session will provide an insider's guide into the world of book promotion from the lens of a publicist and fellow writer.

The event will air live on January 23rd at 1pm ET / 10am PT / 6pm GMT. Sign up now to get the recording and attend live.

By signing up, we will also let you know about future lectures, workshops, and opportunities from The Writer's Workshop at Authors Publish.
