Marble Press was founded in 2022. It started out with two imprints — Marble Books, which focuses on picture books and middle grade books, and Bulooga Books, which publishes books for our youngest readers. In 2026, Marble Press expanded its list with the launch of Taltos Books, an imprint born from its acquisition of CamCat Publishing. They will now publish adult and YA fiction, from thrillers and romance to literary crossovers.
Their focus as a press is to publish books with style and substance. You can see their masthead here.
They are currently only open to three kinds of unagented submissions. All other submissions must be agented. Please do not submit this work to them.
They are open to adult fiction and YA fiction for their CamCat and Taltos Books imprints.
They are also open to submissions from scouts and translators of works in translation.
They also say “We are going to be open open for GRAPHIC NOVEL submissions from June 1st 2026. Stay tuned for details.” So if you have a graphic novel you want to submit, please add a note about that to your calendar.
