Selcouth Station: Now Seeking Submissions

Updated August 14th, 2023. They are now Defunct.

An online platform and creative community featuring artistic work of all kinds, Selcouth Station is a friendly, approachable publisher. They aim to support and promote creativity with a welcoming, inspiring vibe, and they warmly invite beginners to share and collaborate with the community.

Since 2017, Selcouth Station has been publishing new online content regularly. They usually post new work every few days or so. They’ve also published a handful of books, as well as an online directory of zines and small presses, updated weekly.

Poets may submit up to five poems. Authors of fiction or nonfiction may submit one piece, 5,000 words or fewer. So far, Selcouth Station has published short stories, poems, interviews, and reviews, but they want to broaden to include all kinds of artistic forms.

Selcouth Station responds to every submission, but they have a small staff of volunteers so sometimes it takes them a while. They accept submissions via email, but not online or by post. They don’t accept multiple submissions.

If you would like to learn more or submit to Selcouth Station, please visit their website here.
