The Glass Post: Now Seeking Submissions

The Glass Post is a new online magazine, “dedicated to showcasing raw, heartfelt storytelling in all its forms.” They publish poetry, fiction, and nonfiction, as well as creative letters. The letters, which can be written to anyone, offer a profoundly personal form of storytelling.

The Glass Post publishes content online on a rolling basis. New, “freshly posted” writing is featured on their homepage regularly. Their website is thoughtfully designed and easy to navigate, with thematic artwork throughout. They’ve been publishing since the beginning of February this year.

Poets may submit up to three poems, five pages or fewer total. Authors of prose (fiction and nonfiction) may submit up to three pieces, 50 to 2,000 words each. The Glass Post also accepts creative letters. Authors may submit up to three letters, 1,500 words or fewer each. Letters should be “poetic or expressive”. In general, The Glass Post likes writing that is “authentic, real, imaginative, and contemplative.”

Authors may send one submission per category. Submitting authors can expect a response within two to six weeks. Authors may submit again after 60 days.

The Glass Post accepts submissions using an online form, not via email or by post. They accept simultaneous submissions but ask that authors withdraw writing published elsewhere. They do not accept previously published work.

The Glass Post only accepts submissions that follow the guidelines they’ve posted online. Please read these guidelines in full before submitting.
