The Tiger Moth Review: Now Seeking Submissions

A brand-new online journal helmed in Singapore, The Tiger Moth Review, is seeking fiction and poetry exploring the relationship between humanity and nature. They are looking for writing crafted at the intersection of culture and environment. They want to engage with ecological themes with an awareness of natural disaster, and they want to be both critical and hopeful at once. You can read their first issue online.

Right now through May 1st, The Tiger Moth Review is seeking submissions for their second issue, which will be published in July. Authors can also submit work after May 1st—The Tiger Moth Review accepts submissions year-round—but should note cutoff dates for specific editions.

A limited-run print edition of The Tiger Moth Review is scheduled for publication at the end of this year. It will feature the best work from issues one and two.

Poets may submit three to five poems. Authors of fiction may submit one short piece. Submissions should be accompanied by a bio—50 to 100 words—and an author photo.

Submissions should be emailed to The Tiger Moth Review at thetigermothreview@gmail.com, and the subject line of the email should be formatted like this: first name_genre_title of work. If the subject line is formatted differently, the editor won’t open the email. The Tiger Moth Review does not accept submissions by post or using an online submissions manager.

Authors should wait for a response before submitting more work. The Tiger Moth Review tries to respond to submissions within eight weeks.

The Tiger Moth Review accepts simultaneous submissions, but they ask that authors immediately withdraw work published elsewhere. They do not accept previously published work. The Tiger Moth Review prioritizes submissions from Singapore and Southeast Asia, but they publish work from around the world.
