Tiny Flames Press: Now Seeking Submissions

An online space for “Divine Creators.” Established in 2018, Tiny Flames Press is seeking poetry, fiction, and nonfiction born from fiery bellies and blazing hearts. They’re burning for mysteries and moons, flaming loves and open wounds. You can get a sense of their style by reading their journal online.

Tiny Flames Press publishes new content at least once a month. They respond to some submissions very quickly, sometimes within a day. They wait longer respond to others, but they always respond within two months. They accept previously published work, with credit to the original publisher.

Poets may submit two to five poems in any form or style. Authors of fiction, creative nonfiction, and other prose may submit up to two pieces, 3,000 words or fewer each. Tiny Flames Press also accepts flash fiction. Flash authors may submit up to five pieces, 500 words or fewer each.

Right now, Tiny Flames Press is also seeking submissions for their “Summer Solstice 2019 Burning.” They’re looking for “divine creations” to craft a ritual offering. They publish burnings four times a year, during the spring and fall equinoxes and the summer and winter solstices.

Tiny Flames Press is also always open to submissions for their “Firestarters” feature. Firestarters showcases artists living creatively and magically in the world. They’re looking for personal stories, book reviews, interviews, discussions, spells, recipes, and more.

Tiny Flames Press accepts submissions via email, not online or by post. They encourage simultaneous submissions but ask that authors tell them when work is published elsewhere. Authors should send no more than one submission per category at a time.

If you would like to learn more or submit to Tiny Flames Press, please visit their website here.
