Twin Flame Literary is a new online journal of poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction. They’re looking for deeply resonant writing: “We seek poetry and prose that speak to the soul — work that feels like a kindred spirit on the page.”
They want enlivening writing, whether it explores the extraordinary or embraces the everyday: “we seek work that burns with authenticity and creates a bridge across the page, flame to flame.” They also like writing that’s thought-provoking and unexpected: “We encourage you to be explorative.”
Twin Flame is currently curating their first issue. They are open to submissions right now, but no deadline is given, so it’s uncertain when they might close.
Authors of fiction may submit up to two short stories, totaling 6,000 words or fewer. Authors of creative nonfiction may submit one piece, 6,000 words or fewer. Poets may submit up to three poems of any length.
Twin Flame responds to submissions quickly, within 72 hours. As part of their mission to amplify all voices, they respond even more quickly to international submissions, within 48 hours (Twin Flame is based in the United States).
Twin Flame accepts previously published writing, as long as the author retains the rights. They accept submissions via email, not online or by post.
Twin Flame only accepts submissions that follow the guidelines they’ve posted online. Please read these guidelines in full before submitting.
