Voyage: Now Accepting Submissions

Voyage is a paying market that focuses on publishing young adult (YA) fiction, as well as craft essays and young adult creative nonfiction. They are open year-round, and their general submissions are fee-free. They pay $200 for most creative nonfiction and fiction, and $50 per craft essay.

The editor is an author Racquel Henry. They are not interested in publishing fiction or creative nonfiction that is not in the young adult genre.

Their website is easy to navigate, and appealing. They publish established and emerging writers. You can get a better feel for the fiction they publish here, and the nonfiction they publish here.

They accept stories up to 6,000 words in length, of any sub-genre related to YA, including fantasy, science fiction, and romance. They are particularly interested in #ownvoices work. #ownvoices focuses on under-represented group writing about their own experiences/from their own perspective.

Work must be double spaced and the font must be New Times Roman. All submissions must be made through Submittable.
