Helmed in New Orleans, this new weekly online poetry journal is looking for poems that are both beautiful and unconventional. They want powerful, heartfelt poems, “poems of anger and light.”
They aim to publish a wide variety of forms and styles, from lyrical to experimental. They also publish narrative poetry, as well as poetry that isn’t easily classified. To get a sense of their style, you can read past issues online.
Trampoline accepts submissions year-round, and they publish new poems online each week. They read submissions blind, which makes Trampoline a great place for unpublished poets to submit.
Poets may submit any number poems, within reasonable limits. All poems should be submitted in a single document, without identifying information. Poets do not need to include a bio with the submission.
Trampoline accepts submissions via email, not online or by post. They accept simultaneous submissions but ask that author withdraw work published elsewhere. They do not accept previously published work.
Trampoline won’t consider work that doesn’t follow their submission guidelines. Please read their guidelines in full before submitting.
