How Writers Can Successfully Apply for Grants, Fellowships, and Residencies

You're invited to a free one-hour talk and Q&A session with Calvin Gimpelevich.

It can be surprisingly difficult for creative writers to navigate the technical aspects of application writing. This talk goes behind the scenes of the selection process, addressing best practices, what jurors look for, and common mistakes.

You will learn how to find opportunities, craft biographical statements, and write project proposals that are both compelling and tailored to juries' needs. (Even if you  don't have a publication track  record.)

Drawing on years of experience successfully applying to institutions for his own writing, in addition to writing grants for small arts organizations, editing applications, and serving on juries, Calvin will lead you through the entire process of application.

By signing up, we will also let you know about future lectures, workshops, and opportunities from The Writer's Workshop at Authors Publish.
