Based in Singapore and founded in October 2010, the Eunoia Review is a literary journal that accepts submissions all year long. The Review aims to showcase work that exemplifies “beautiful thinking.”

They usually print original, unpublished poetry, fiction and creative non-fiction, though they accept the occasional reprint, provided the writer still owns his/her rights to the work.

Every day they publish two pieces from “writers of all ages and backgrounds” from all over the world.

Named for one of the shortest English words containing all five vowels, the Eunoia Review is remarkable because they “aim to respond to all submissions within 24 hours.” Editor Ian Chung often responds much quicker than that, usually within a few hours. Because of their astonishing response record, it’s understandable why they would not accept simultaneous submissions.

Multiple submissions, however, are encouraged and welcomed. You may send them up to ten poems, 15,000 words of fiction (be it a single piece or many), and the same amount of creative non-fiction. There is also no limit to the number of times you can submit work after you have heard back with an acceptance or rejection.

Eunoia Review does not yet pay its contributors, but its Facebook, Twitter, and main site are all well-maintained with a professional, crisp design that both shows respect for its contributors while inviting its many readers and followers to explore and enjoy. It’s a welcoming platform for writers at any stage of their career.
