The following four journals all accept a limited amount of free submissions at the start of the month. We are publishing this article on the last day of February. All of the journals should be closed to free submissions at this point, but starting March 1st, all of these journals should be open to free submissions. In order for our readers to take advantage of that limited window, we are sending out the journal links today. Some have a smaller cap and some fill up sooner. In my experience Into the Void fills up first. So I would suggest trying to submit to them first.
We don’t usually review journals with such a small window for free submissions, but we feel more comfortable releasing this as a list, where there are multiple options for journals to submit to. If you would like to see more lists like this send us an email at support@authorspublish.com. If you would rather not see any lists like this in the future, email us at support@authorspublish.com.

A respected and beautiful literary journal that publishes poetry, they cap their free submissions at 200 a month. If there are no present calls for submissions, that means they’ve reached their limit and will re-open next month. They do not have a pay to submit option.
