Bad Pony: Now Seeking Submissions

Bad Pony is an online journal of good writing about bad behavior. Inspired by a fictional pony who had a bad childhood, Bad Pony is seeking mischievous fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. Since launching in 2017, Bad Pony has published six issues online, each with work from around 15 contributors. They only accept submissions during their open reading periods. Right now they are taking submissions until June 1st.

Authors of fiction and nonfiction may submit one piece, 2,500 words or fewer. Poets may submit three to five poems of any length. Bad Pony also accepts English translations.

All submissions should include a third person bio, 100 words or fewer. Accepted submissions will be published on July 1st of this year.

Bad Pony accepts submissions via email, not online or by post. They accept simultaneous submissions, but ask that authors notify them immediately if the submitted work is published elsewhere. They do not accept previously published work.
