This press is a part of Moore Street Media, alongside Rockpool Publishing, which we have reviewed here. Even though all their submission guidelines are on the same page, each of the Moore Street Media imprints is distinctly different, which is why we are reviewing them separately. Moore Street Media and all of their imprints are based in Australia.
Sweet Hearts Press focuses on publishing reading journals, gift books, beauty books, as well as mindfulness products. Their website is busy and bright, and playful. They are a brand new imprint, so it’s a hard to get much of a feel for what they actually will end up publishing. You can see their shop here, but currently it’s mostly books of wrapping paper, mindfulness puzzles, and reading logs.
It is really clear, from both the website and the shop, that visually the work Sweet Hearts is publishing and producing is very different than what Rockpool publishes. Rockpool’s aesthetics lean beige and generally spiritual. Sweet Hearts aesthetics are bright and bold.
They have detailed submission guidelines and requirements here. Please read them carefully before submitting.
