Enchant

Enchant is the Romantasy focused imprint of Entwined Publishing, which we have reviewed here. For those unfamiliar with the term, Romantasy is a very popular genre currently, which is focused on a blend of Romance and Fantasy. At my local big box bookstore, Romantasy is currently dominating the fantasy genre by a large margin.

They are currently seeking submissions “that transport readers to magical worlds filled with mythical creatures, powerful magic, and epic quests. Whether it’s a spellbinding romance set in a fantastical realm or a heroic adventure intertwined with love, we want stories that ignite the imagination and sweep readers off their feet.”

They are not interested in fantasy that does not have a romantic element. They consider manuscripts that are between 50,000 and 100,000 words.

They are open to the following genres, within the umbrella of Fantasy and Romance including:
Action/Adventure, Alternate Reality, Angels and Demons, Dark Romance, Fantasy/Romantasy, Paranormal, Vampires, Werewolves.

The Fantasy section of their website gives a clear impression of what they are currently focused on publishing.

On their submission page they share the genres and tropes they are open to here. They also share a few more specific calls for submissions including a reverse Harem Submission Call, and a Royals Submission call. You just have to scroll down on the page.

They prefer series to stand-alone projects but are open to both. They are open to all heat ratings.

They ask that authors submit full manuscripts alongside synopsis.

Tuttle Publishing

The Tuttle Publishing company was originally founded in 1832 in Vermont. This makes it one of the oldest American publishers still in operation. In 1948, the company established a publishing outpost in Japan, and since then they have become much more focused on producing English-language books about the arts, languages and cultures of Asia. In…
